Ohio State Motto

With God, All Things Are Possible	Language:English
Translation:	Adoption:1959

State mottoes may be said to reflect the character and beliefs of the citizens of the state, or more accurately, the citizens of the state when they were adopted. State mottoes can help us gain insight into the history of a state. [What is a motto? ]

The Ohio Revised Code

The following information is excerpted from the Ohio Revised Code, General Provisions, Chapter 5, Section 5.06.

GENERAL PROVISIONS.
CHAPTER 5 - STATE INSIGNIA; SEALS; HOLIDAYS.
SECTION 5.06

§ 5.06. State motto.

"With God, All Things Are Possible" shall be adopted as the official motto of the state.
