sea level.
The elevations in Iowa rise in the west reaching a high point of 1,670 feet above sea level
on the Sterler Farm in Osceola County, in the northwestern corner of the state,
near the Minnesota border.
It's about 37 miles northwest of
Spencer.
The high point in Iowa was named
Hawkeye Point
in 1998.
