The Central Florida Air Fair was designated as the official Florida State Air Fair in 1976. Unfortunately it seems to have hit upon hard times and is no longer running.
According to Dave Apfelbaum of the Kissimmee Rotary Club, the fair's last year was 1994, only 18 years as an official state air fair. Seems a shame.
